So just who is Miss Pink? I am a 30-something professional who just got served a swift kick in the pants one more time on the path of life, love, ambition, and the pursuit of happily ever after. This Cinderella definitely lost her totally cute shoes and is running barefoot in desparate need of a pedicure through the unpaven roads called her life!
I have decided to use this as a forum to blog about all the things that need to be known, and of course there are things no one really needs to know but I feel compelled to share anyways because I have a story - My Story and how I landed here on this page after being urged by many to tell it. Besides, it's a whole lot more economical than crying to a shrink...been there, done that and still I am where I am.
One thing I can promise you is that I will always speak candidly, even if it is not the most poised of statements made. I don't claim to be the next Sarah Jessica Parker or Jen Lancaster, although I love them both, yet I have a wit about me that I think fans of theirs might appreciate....who knows, maybe I will become an esteemed chic lit author after my story is out in the open! Editors: Don't hestitate to contact me if you see something you'd like me to further exploit! Transparency is my release and I would find your interest complimentary.

Divas Dine on Budgets Too!...Okay, I admit it - I love eating out and sampling new places in town, deciding if I like the food on the menu, the service, and the ambiance enough to return...Some say I am a Diva at dinning. I have my moments (and we all do ladies), but more often,I feel that if my hard earned dollar is going towards food, it needs to be justified in these troubled times. Many say "Stay home and eat what's in the fridge"..to that I say, yes - absolutely do that when it makes sense. Here is when eating out is STILL cheaper than eating in: -> When the only thing in the pantry is loaded with preservatives or starch. Balanced meals are still important ladies! ->When there is no fresh fruit, salad fixings, or deli meats in the fridge. The cost of getting all you would need to satisfy those meal cravings is surely more than just going to get a single gal portion. Otherwise you risk actually wasting good food and that is a far worse offense! ...a few more: -> When you have the opportunity to go out with your dearest of girlfriends over happy hour. Chances are, you will share an appetizer or two for $5 and the time catching up on juicy gossip is worth every penny. Money can always be replaced - Good girlfriends are tough to come by. -> Oh, and of course invitations by bosses, boyfriends, or cute guys you want to meet will probably only cost you your time! So raise a toast to cheap eats Divas!
